Professional Summary

I am a renal physiologist and circadian biologist, blending my interests in translational biomedical research, science policy, and science advocacy. As a postdoctoral research fellow, I am currently investigating the role of G protein-coupled estrogen receptor 1 (GPER1) in sodium balance in renal tubules. I am also an advocate for the representation of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color in STEM and policymaking. I am incredibly passionate about science communication and science policy.
